Build a precise product or trade enquiry
Product, ecommerce and B2B service enquiries need different details from a retail visit. Ask what product or service is being considered, whether a published specification answers the question and what staff must verify about supply or delivery. Do not claim live inventory, export advice or a regional office merely because the page names Ahmedabad.
Review the languages your customers actually use
English, Gujarati and Hindi questions should preserve units, quantities and specifications. Test a mixed-language product request with the same source knowledge used in English. When a term is ambiguous, ask the visitor to clarify instead of silently changing the specification.
A local-context conversation example
Replace the example with your real branch, service and published policy. The contact request remains optional and any operational commitment needs staff confirmation.
Visitor: Can you supply this product in Ahmedabad? Assistant: Which product, required specification and approximate quantity? I can explain published information; staff must confirm availability and delivery. Assistant: May the team contact you with a verified response?
WhatsApp is a next step to explain
If you publish a business WhatsApp contact link, tell the visitor it opens another app. Do not promise that the website transcript will follow automatically or that a native messaging bot is connected. The staff handling WhatsApp should know how a website enquiry arrives and what information the visitor may need to repeat.
Keep an email or form option available. A visitor preference for WhatsApp is not permission to enrol them in repeated promotional messaging.
Test the assumptions specific to this enquiry
Test an unsupported specification, a quantity outside published terms and a live-stock question. Preserve the requested units in the summary and keep a quote request separate from a confirmed order.
Review the reply and saved brief with the person handling the request. Confirm the place, requested service, contact purpose and missing details are understandable. Compare completed staff follow-up rather than assuming chat activity represents a sale.
